Aircraft De-icing

De-icing / Anti-icing

With our high-tech equipment "Elephant Beta" and "SafeAero" we offer our customers professional de-icing and anti-icing of aircraft. The knowledge of the weather situation in Austria and the experience of our staff are also decisive factors for the best possible de-icing and anti-icing services. Regular inspections, compliance with all safety regulations, as well as meeting the highest environmental standards are a matter of course for us and are checked annually by an audit of the IATA De-Icing/Anti-Icing Quality Control Pool (DAQCP)

LOWW has 5 deicing supply positions on the face of the F positions, as well as up to 8 deicing positions.

The procedure of de-icing of aircraft on external positions is based on the requirements of SAE Aerospace Standards AS6285 and 6286 (current applicable version) and in accordance with IATA AHM subsection 3.17 (3.17.2-3.17.8)

At the request of the PIC, a one- or two-stage deicing procedure is available at the appropriate outboard positions.

For more information, our de-icing procedure is available for download as a pdf.
