Welcome to Vienna: ANA to Launch Daily Flight Service to Tokyo

A new long-haul flight connection will be offered from Vienna. All Nippon Airways, Japan’s largest airline, will link Vienna with Tokyo-Haneda Airport starting on February 17, 2019. The new route will be served daily throughout the entire year, with the airline deploying a state-of-the-art Boeing 787-9 (Dreamliner).

“With ANA, Japan’s major airline will be represented at Vienna Airport in the future. As a result, Vienna will be linked to Tokyo-Haneda Airport, the most central airport for Japan’s capital city. Thanks to the great public transport connections from the airport to the city centre and the journey in the cutting-edge Dreamliner, passengers departing from Vienna for the Japanese metropolis have particularly comfortable travel options. In the future, the flight connection will be available the whole year long, helping to strengthen economic ties and tourism between Japan and Austria. On balance, the new long-haul offering means we offer up to twelve weekly flights to Tokyo”, says a pleased Julian Jäger, Joint CEO and COO of Vienna Airport, commenting on the new long-haul flight connection.
