Dangerous Goods Training

Compliance with the regulations requires specific training

Ensuring that undeclared dangerous goods do not get on board an aircraft is one of many key objectives of our dangerous goods program. By defined standards for documentation, handling and training, and by actively using those standards by the air cargo industry, IATA and national authorities have achieved a very high degree of safety in dangerous goods transport.

The successful application of regulations concerning the transport of dangerous goods greatly depend on the appreciation by all individuals concerned of the risks involved and on a detailed understanding of the Regulations. This can only be achieved by properly planned initial and recurrent training programs.

Depending on the respective responsibilities of the person, the training must be in line with the scope of the applicable staff category.

Our IATA certified Dangerous Goods Trainers offer Inital and Recurrent Trainings for the following staff categories according to IATA DGR Section 1.5.
